    Default aftermarket headlights

Anyone installed these lights before? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...1%7C240%3A1318

I have a set of these and was just wondering how hard they are to install. Waiting for the weather to get nice since its winter here and I dont have a garage to work in. Any help or direction on these would be nice!!!

nah, its really simple. just take out the old headlights and put the new ones in. make sure you plug the bulbs in first. but it should be a simple replacement goes into the same position as the old ones. but be careful when your buying stuff like that on ebay. i bought a pair of projector lights from ebay and they are absolutly retarded to adjust them. they do not give off the straight line that they are supposed to. the adjustments are all azz backwards. it says turn them left to turn the screw left...and vise versa. its all the opposite. just be careful man.

As Ryan said, it's normally just pretty straight forward. Take off the old one and put the new one right on in the same manner - straight bolt on.

You should have a few wires that lead nowhere from the new lights - these are for the halos. Most people just wire the leads to the parking light wires so the halos come on when you turn those on.

Good luck and make sure you post pictures when it's all done up!

I wouldn't suggest installing halo lamps in any car ever. I had them on my Camaro and they looked cool, but the halo around the light cuts off any beam that was to the side of the car. You can see ahead of you just fine, but if you want to see anything on the side of the road, it is impossible at night. If you must install them, the 3rd wire can be run to the same wire as the head light, or if you have running lamps and want the halos on when the car is on, run it to the running lamp wires. Or you could just hook it straight to the battery, but that would probably drain the battery pretty quick.

the turn signals arent in the headlamps they are down below where the day time running lights are. the third light im talking about is in the actusl headlamp with a red and a green wire coming off the back with a lil box in the wire assembly (resistor im guessing).

No clue, from the description you are giving. No instructions?

It may be self-explanatory when you get in there - I've never had those particular lights so I can't hazard a guess.

nope no instructions with it. the site said they recommend professional installation but seriously how hard is it to put in some head lights just wish I knew where to hook up the wiring for that third light.
