    Default Noise at high rpm

    I recently used a Superchips cortex programmer on my 2006 1500 5.3. I have aftermarket intake, exhaust, and a throttle body "paperweight". On the performance setting I've noticed that at real high rpm this is a slight crackle noise. I am very paranoid about detonation, but hopefully the noise is not that serious. Has anyone else noticed a similar noise? Or do you know what this might be, if anything?

    Post noise at high rpm

    Im not familier with the Superchip cotex, but if it has live data in it, see if it shows knock retard. this will tell if its detenation. I have Diablo Preditor programmer and it shows knock retard.
