    Default HID help for Yukon Denali

    hey guys i just got my yukon last week and i'm plannig to put HID on low beam and foglights is there any write up how to do it...

    its a 2002...i installed a couple of HID kits on import cars.. now this the first time i'm touching domestic car lol...now i have no idea how to get to the housing looks so crowded.. and i have the automatic headlight thing.. does it affect the HID life???

    Not sure about the auto headlight thing, but those denalis have projector headlights, and have heard mixed reviews of putting HID into those projectors

    actually in my knowledge you can put HID kit in every headlight housing but sometime you will need an bulb adaptor so the HID bulb will sit properly.. i put one on my 00 toyota celica it has projector and it require bulb adaptor.. and i put one in my wife honda civic that one doesn't have projector but it doesn't need the bulb adaptor.. but now a days HID kits comes with bulb adaptors..

    now my really concern is the auto headlight thing... and how to get to the housing...

    you might have a problem with clearence of the bulb in the projector housing H.I.D bulbs are a hair longer than standad bulbs. you might need a spacer of some sort!

    i installed my HID and yellow fogs.. no probs with the fitting of the HID kit... right now i'm keeping eye on it cuz i have the auto headlight and it turn on when i unlock the truck..

    heres a pic.. sorry not a good take.
