    Default ball joints

    i have a 99 yukon gmc , i need to change the ball joints but i need a write up on how to do it,. Is there a write up on how to replace your ball joints. i searched all over.

    I've found the write-up in Chilton's Haynes to be mostly adequate for this operation. You can access Chiltons for free in the vehicle repair guides at One tricky part is accurately identifying which style of ball joint you have, so you can reference the right set of instructions.

    If you have the same style as my '98, and the ball joints have never been changed, the hardest part is drilling out the rivest that hold the ball joints on.
