i have a 1971 chevy impala convertible that sits in a portable garage for the winter. it sat for 4 years and had mice in it. i finally got the smell out and now it seems that the mice have invaded the car again. any suggestions for keeping the mice out?

My mother in law swears by moth balls. She parks her '77 Monte in the garage and pours a ring of those smelly things all around the car.
I don't know personally, but I haven't had to clean out any nests in years!

We have 4 cars that have been in storage for the last five years, and we have always used moth balls. We have never had any mice problems yet, the only downfall is they make your car stink!
