Default New Guy w/ a question.

I just bought a single cab Chevy sport side truck, its an older model, but i really like that style. Its a 96. The guy i bought i from put aftermarket wheel on it. They are old and not to my liking. I've looked into the factory Z71 wheels on ebay, but it seems those are 6 lug rims, while the truck is 5. My question is is there an converter i could buy to convert it over to a 6 lug? would this be cost effective? thanks in adavance.

I don't think it's all that difficult, you should be able to find a 6-lug unit and replace it for the 5-lug unit.

i don't know if they make an adapter for it or not. on the front you should be albe to buy rotors for a 4 wheel drive (these will be 6 lug) but on the rear it will be a little more trouble since the rear is drums, you may have to change out the rear axle if you can't find an adapter for it
