dash lights?

I have a 2006 silverado and only about two of the buttons on the steering wheel light up. and the passenger side of the climate control (the part where you adjust from hot to cold) dont lite up either? I cant imagine that all the light bulbs would be going out already? has anyone else had this problem?

Actually I just posted a thread that is similar to this. I have had 3 lights go out on my dash on my 07' Sivlerado in the past 2 weeks. They were the gas gauge, tuning knob on my stereo and the driver side temp control. The dealer said they found high resistance going to the cluster so they were going to replace that but I don't know how much hope I have that is the final fix.

It's not uncommon to have the lights go out that fast in the steering wheel controls, radio and climate control. You can replace the switches separately in the steering wheel. The climate control will probably need to be replaced.

I have had 2 lights go out on my steering wheel, and my defrost button light so far. Dealer fixed under warranty.
