Default Will 15" wheel fit on 99-06 trucks?

I found a nice looking set of wheels and tires but they are 15" wheels. Will those fit on my 99 Silverado or are those going to be too small?

I've got a set of 15x7's for my '98, and they fit just fine. Mine has the 11 inch brakes, and there basically is no room to spare. If your '99 has the same 11 inch brakes as my '98, you'll be fine. If you have bigger brakes, then 15's won't fit.

I think 99 and up have bigger brakes so I dont think a 15 inch rim will work on it

I think your right dickie, its the same with vans. you can't fit a 15" wheel on a 2004 express. because they use bigger brakedisks front and replaced the backdrums by disks also. and nowing that vans always are some years behind on trucks technologywise. i figure it will be that.

Yeah I figured the brakes would be too big. I know they're on there for a reason, but I thought that reason could be because a 16 inch wheel is more visually pleasing than a 15.

I think that's a possibility. My '98 came with 16 inch wheels from the factory, and yet the 15's fit just fine. There is no inherent advantage to the 15's, so there's no harm in summarily dismissing the idea of going a size smaller, if you aren't sure. I guess it depends on how appealing this particular set of rims is to you.

If you can, try before you buy. If it fits then great if it doesn't well then see if you can't find that same style in a 16". Good luck

    Default 15's on 99-up

NO!! they will not fit, just because a 98 comes with 16s and 15s fit is completely irrelevant. They are 2 COMPLETELY different body styles of truck unless you have a 99 classic. If you have a 99 classic then the 15's should fit.

Post Will 15 wheel fit on99-06 truck

I think if you have HD trailer package they wont fit because of brakes.
