It is getting worse. There is an eith of a tank and the 91 suburban 454 stalls and bucks. If you go around a corner it starts acting up. I can always get to a station(so far) but it happened to my wife the other day. You can hear the fuel slosh, so it is not out. I replaced the filter, it didn't make any difference. I have the throttle body fuel injection. Could this be a bad pickup tube? I would rather not have to drop the tank.
sounds like the gauge may be off, just just fill it up before it gets to that point. use the eighth mark as your new empty mark

Two 8in RF HX2 punch( would have 12s but they got stolen)
Now, why didn't I think of that? As I stated, the wife had it happen to her and I would like to keep it happenning again.

Either the gauge is off or the pick-up tube might not be seated all the way on the pump.
I'm betting on the gauge being off some, not uncommon.
