Hello folks. I'm new to this place but I'm going crazy trying to figure out what's wrong with my truck.
My 05 Chevy, 3500,4WD (diesel) won't start. It will crank over and act like it wants to but just stops turning over. My door power locks and windows, radio don't work either now. Ran just fine the day before, next morning nothing. Checked my standard fuses and all good. Un-hooked the batt's to try and reset something but no good. Please help with ideas.
Thanks
Sandy
If your accessories stopped working, the first thing I would do is check/charge the battery.
99 Silverado Z71 4.8
2" Suspension lift (Add-a-leafs and leveling keys)
Long tube headers with 3" offroad Y-Pipe
Volant Cold Air Intake with Ram Air Intake Tube
Jet Mass Air Flow Sensor
Diablosport Predator Tuner
Previous Truck:
97 Suburban K1500
3" Body lift
2" Suspension Lift (Add-a-leafs and cranked up torsion bars)
35" Yokohama M/T's
K&N Intake
Airraid Throttle Body Spacer
Hypertech Programmer
Dual Flowmasters

Bad cell in the battery?
Or maybe corrosion at the incoming power connection on the fuse box.

Thanks, I allready checked the batt's. It cranks over just fine but it will only crank for just a second or 2. Acts like something with ignition or something that won't let it start. She try's but just stops cranking over until I reset the key and turn it again. My interior lights use to come on when I opened the door but I have to do all that manually now. Vehicle setting are fine the dang thing just won't work.

Welcome to the site Sandy! Could it be a fuel related issue?

I don't know if these trucks have the same part or issue, but I know in my 2004 GMC Envoy I just had to replace the ignition switch for the same reason. Very common problem on those trucks. Since you have multiple electrical issues that are generally routed through that system, it would be worth checking into. Only difference is that ours wouldn't crank from time to time. It was intermittent. Good luck.
