    Default Autostart

    Guys, how do I know if I can simply bring my truck to the dealer and have them reprogram the computer to enable preinstalled autostart on the vehicle? Ive seen posts on this but no definitive answer on if I should even bother asking the dealer? Any suggestions based on VIn #?

    Default remote start

    whats up dude? I have been looking to d the same thing to my Silvy. I have looked on a few GM parts websites and found a part number for the Silverado not sure if its the same for the Colorado but it is 17800560. Check ut www.gmpartsclub.com or www.gm-auto-pas.com . I have not contacted either part distributer yet to see what they say but the part is like$150-$190. Hope that helps.

    thanks for the info. The parts number you gave brings up a 'Cover' not sure exactly waht that is.
