    Default 5.3 Tune for 06'

    I'm looking to get a custom tune done by Blackbear performance. Has anyone had this done and what should I expect? And thoughts on handhelds?

    I'm in the same position. I like the adjustability idea of handhelds but would like to get the most out of a tune....

    Personally I would prefer a Predator tuner. You can custom modify the parameters for fueling, spark, and many others and you can change it around whenever you want. You don't have to go through the hassle of replacing PCMs and when you sell your truck, you can simply detune it and sell the programmer for pretty close to what you paid for it.

    Thumbs up 5.3 tune for 06

    I agree with MJALSTAD, I also have Diablo Preditor tuner and you can change your tune without having to send back or pay core charge. Diablos website doesnt show everything you can do with there tuner. Once you get it just play with it, you cant screw anything up because if you make a mistake you just hit escape and it will go back to stock tune and then you just start over. Also if you go on there website, look for one of there custom tuning dealers.

    Add another one to the boat. I'm looking to get a tuner, to increase my gas mileage.
