95 silverado tanny problems

im having problems with my tranny when i give it light gas it shakes the truck i think it might be the tourqe converter because if i floor it it goes away and the tranny shifts fine i need a little help

Jeremy,

Many times the vibration you are feeling is not the torque converter but an engine miss. The miss can not be felt once the torque converter unlocks. This is why you think it goes away when you floor it. Dirty plugs, fuel injectors, bad plug wires can all cause this problem. The first thing I would do is scan the computer. You will probably see a P0300 misfire code or something similar.

thanks i have new plug wires and cap and rotor ill try that then get back on here with a response thanks for your help

Have you checked the motor mounts and tranny mounts yet, just a thought
