05 equinox awd [Expired Topic]

hello ,i own a 05 equinox awd with 52000kms.i bought the truck two months ago and heard a weird grindind noise when the awd engages.straight off the take off it makes the noise and keeps on making the noise as i keep gasing it . the dealer already changed the rear diff. but the noise is still there can anybody help me out befor the warranty runs out and the repairs come out of my pocket.

ive had a similar problem on my '05, when driving in downpour rain on the highway and i shifted to L4/once in the snow. its sounds as if the engines struggling (but rpms and temp stay fine) theres no shaking or anything just this thumping sound like something its stuck on the driveshaft just hitting the undercarrage.

ive had mine checked out as well and theres nothing out of the ordinary.

equinox has some curious questions with no answers ive come to learn
