Default braking probs with aftermarket tires/wheels?

so i just put some aftermarket 18's and 275/65/18 tires on my truck...not a real big upgrade but a lil, well anyway since i did that.....sometimes when i go to stop my trucks shakes, but only when i go to stop and like i said sometimes its minimal other times it shakes back.....is it cause the brakes arnt use to the new size tires? and weight of the rims ? or something to do with the abs?

    What year is your truck?
When I pulled my rims this weekend I saw 2 copper keepers on each wheel at thr rotor. Those can cause shaking if you don't remove them - so I'm told.
Did you check all of the lugs for tightness?
Are the wheels balanced? Did you alter the ride height (torsion bars level kit) that require a new alignment?

Since it only does it under braking I don't think the wheels are out of balance. If they were not balanced you would notice it under cruising speed. How many miles are on your truck? Are they the original rotors and pads? Does it shake through the steering wheel or the pedal? If its through the pedal it probably means that your rotors need to be turned.

I would guess that the rotors are warped and maybe now that you have heavier wheels/tires it is causing more enough of a shake for you to notice it.

I would have to say its warped rotors, does the pedal pulsate (go up and down) and get rid of the rotor hold down clips they will warp rotors and may cause uneven tightening of the lug nuts and may bend/warp the rim
