Are you looking to install a kit or are you going to piece it together yourself from spare parts?

Installing Twin Turbos will be a huge undertaking. Have you thought about how you are going to control your fuel and timing and all that other good stuff?

Yes turbos will induct more air into the chambers, but with more air you need more fuel and stronger (usually retarded) timing. Timing is a huge thing with gas turbo motors. If you retard it too much, you loose power and start running really rich, if you advance it too much you start running too lean and getting engine knock. Turbo tuning is an art in its self.
There are engine tuning components out there, but many of them will require you to learn quite a bit about your PCM and engine as well as the software. Do-able, but time consuming.
well, maybe there's some other way to get more power, iv look at air filters and in stead of having the air come from the quarter panel im gonna put a classic air filter on it, i think that will help because there is a lot of air under the hood when driving![]()

Even a single turbo setup would benefit you. Look into STS turbo systems. I definitely want one. All the tuning could be done by a local performance shop on a dyno. The fee is usually worth it since they'll unlock the true potential of the setup. If you run around 5 psi which should be more than enough, unless your a speed freak. Then you will need to look into bigger injectors and the such.

In order for a local speed shop to tune your truck, they'll need something to tune on. Unless they have a burner that will allow them to burn new parameters into the computer, there's not much they can do. I wasn't in any way trying to dissuade you from doing the turbos, just make sure you understand the whole picture.
What year is your truck? If it's OBD II, there are some very decent tuning options out there, if it's OBDI like mine, there really isn't a whole lot without changing a lot of things around.

There are a ton more video's. Check those out maybe you can get some good info from there. I dont know about the STS kit. I have installed them a couple times and didnt have any good luck with them. I sould look for something that mounts the turbo's in the engine bay. Honestly its not like the truck doesnt have the room. STS got started cause they made turbo kits for cars that had no room in the engine bay for turbo's. so it gave those guys the option for turbocharging. I dont see why there wouldnt be a company that wouldnt have a kit that mounts the turbo's in the engine bay. but you never know. The guy in the video started out with a single turbo a long time ago. I am pretty sure he is custom making everything in his set up.
