Are you going to be using it for off-road or on-road?

Smile this is the look im trying to get

Sorry, but you wont find a quality kit for $1,200 fo you suv. Your year suv has rear coil springs so if you dont want to have a rough ride or the rear springs sagging in about a year save your money alittle longer and buy a good quality kit. We always used Rancho or Skyjacker because there springs rode well and lasted ( no sagging). In the eight years I worked at a truck customizing shop we only had to warranty one Skyjacker spring and it was off a abused mud truck. Do yourself a favor and take your time.

im sure you can find a local shop that might have a kit for your truck and with times right now its possible. after i installed my level kit we had a big boys toy show here and one of the local places had a kit for my truck for about what your looking to spend but at time i already sunk money into the level kit so i passed on deal. keep hunting youll find what your looking for.

i saw everyone say how good rough country was and the kit for my truck cost $1200 so i thought that would be my budget for the lift..but im by no means limited to 1200 i want to make sure i do it right the first time i dont like to half ass anything..this wont be for off road just city driving..i just really like the look..so if you guys can suggest a good kit that will set me up right and be comfortable to drive which is very important to me i would appreciate it..thank you

I would recommend the rough country kit. they are quality and will save you money. however, replace the shocks cuz the ones they give you are not that good. I would recommend getting a set of bilstein shocks like the 5100 or 5150. if you wanna spend a little more go with skyjacker or fabtech lifts.

I found a Rancho 4" lift for the 2002 Yukon, and it will run you $1,700 minus the shocks. ($400 est. for shocks)

I also found a Skyjacker 6" lift kit for $$1,900 minus the shocks again!

The main difference I can see is that the Rancho kit uses a spacer for the rear, and a coil spring for the front. And the Skyjacker kit uses the differential cradle for the front, and coil springs for the rear.

For the $200 difference I think I would go with the extra 2" inches, and get the skyjacker kit. Hope this helps you out a little........AMY BTW: the red kit is the Rancho lift kit.
