I know most of the work is in the prep, but I'm just clueless... I want to repaint my suburban from top to bottom, front ot back. The 18-year old paint is fading and chipping off, and just starting to look plain nasty. I have been looking for guides on the net about doing it, and they've been a decent base at getting some of the basic skills down, but none I've found really cover the prep work in detail. I'm about fed up with trying to figure it all out and I might send it into a shop to get it painted, I just don't know if I want to spend 1500-2000 easy on a paint job. I'd almost rather leaving it horrible at those kind of prices...
