    Default Throttle body injection vs multi port?

    We're looking for a '95-99 Suburban, 2500/454 and wondered what year they went from throttle body to multi port injection, and if it had a great affect on mpg, or power in the 454 ???

    Smile Throttle body injection vs multi port

    96 was first year for multiport. Horsepower increase I believe was about 55hp increase. Also made big differance in drivability. Try to find 96 to 99. Gas mileage improved, but its still a 454!
