    Question 93 c1500

What was the most popular 5.7ltr motor used for the C1500 in 93?

Now that would still be a Gen I 350 right? Can you get a stand alone for this motor?

Not sure about the generation number, sorry. I've looked for a stand alone ECU for my '94 and haven't found anything out there that doesn't require re-wiring the harness to match the ECU. If you find anything, let me know. Hell, I'll settle for a decent piggy back that'll give me control over timing and fuel trim.

In 93 you could get a Vortec 4.3 v-6, but the Vortec 350 (5.7) didn't show up until the 96 model year.
