Obviously, Im not expecting a huge difference, but is there any difference in fuel mileage at all between the two gears with the 454?
And, if I plan to add 33" or 35" tires, wouldnt I want the 4.10s? Or is the 454 such a beast that it wont matter much there either?
Thanks

Is there much of a difference in mpg between the 3.73 and 4.10s with stock tires?

With stock tires, I'd say you will be using more fuel with the 4:10s. They are good for more torque on the start and normally the 3:73s or 3:?? will be for better mileage. If your are working the 454 then the 4:10s will help get it moving quicker, using all that torque the 454 has.

I had 96 Suburban with a 5.7, when I lifted it the first time I ran 35s and installed 4.56s and that worked well. It came with 3.73s from factory. I think with that 454 and 35s I would run 4.10s with the 35s
