I want to thank Jimmiee for his quick response to my question. I have just one more question about my 77. I was looking through pics forum and saw that a member had a 76 with a 350. It was original and it had red manifold and valvue covers. Mine is a 77 with original 350 but mine has blue manifold and valvue covers. I know with fords the color of the valve covers used to tell you info bout the motor. What is the difference???
Hi Charlie,
From what I remember <fogggy> is back in the early 70's Chevies were orange and other GMs had their own engine colors. Then Buick, Pontiac and Olds started using the good old Chevy motor. Once this happened GM started spitting out blue generic 350's.
