Thread: Lighting issue

    Default Lighting issue

This there a recall out on the 2006 equinox concerning lighting problems. Our 2006 Nox LT has the following problem; with the headlight switch in the AUTO position, the left blinker blinks but the speedodmeter numbers also blink with it as does the mileage numbers. Step on the brake and the blinker slows then stops. With headlight switch in any other position the blinker does not blink, but stays on steady. Right blinker is fine. A short? Problem with the flasher unit? Or could it be connected to the year old, U-Haul installed trailer light wiring harness? Car has been perfect up to 43K miles and now seems to be developing issues. Had a problem with the Park relay and fuse just two weeks ago. Anyone else have a problem like this?

Never heard of that but GM does the darndest things with their relays and moduels. I'd take it to the dealer if its still under warranty.
