04 5.3 exhaust. help and oppinions.

i have an 04 5.3l silverado 1500. i was lookin at exhaust systems and dont know what to do. dont really want to spend a fortune but i want it to have that sound. i would guess that everyone knows what i mean. this is the first nice truck i have owned. gotta personalize it. i have a ginaric magnaflow muffler. but i want a bit more sound. i put it in because the stock one well lets face it it didnt make the grade. i am lookin to give my truck some attitude. id much rather hear the v8 than the tuner next to me at a light. you know what i mean? if anyone has similar trucks and has a vid with sound of the exhaust and what exhaust it is that would greatly be appreciated.

I don't know what your budget is, but glasspacks are cheap and I think they have a great sound on the 5.3's...If you can dish out the cash a true dual setup would be the best.

i got flowmaster 40 series with 4inch ss tips on my 05 for 270 bucks

Save up and buy a good mandrel bent exhaust system (magnaflow, corsa,flowmaster etc.) Otherwise you will end up hating what you bought and replacing it.

I went with flow master turbo. It cost me $315, but I got 15% off because I new the guy that owned the shop. Good luck!

Hi, i'm currently in your same situation and i'm seriously considering looking at this exhaust from a muffler shop on ebay. This is a great price for 2.5" pipes with 3.5" tips with a genuine magnaflow muffler. These guys have got nothing but great reviews as well. See what you think

I have a video of mine on Car Domain, but I don't know how to put it on this thread? I have tried and tried and tried, if you go on Car Domain and type in the search box TRPLXL2 my truck will come up and you can watch the video that way too. I have the Corsa single into dual exhaust, it has a nice sound but nothing outrageous. $1,000 installed.
