    Default Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks?

Have a new 2009 crew cab Z71 that sets lower in the front than I like, read about Bilstein 5100 leveling shock tht adjust from stock to 2.5" of additional lift. Has anyone tried these? Do they work well, do they ride well, any problems, etc. did you do a full set - front and rear or just the front? Any info would be appreciated.

Thumbs up Bilstien 5100 leveling shocks

A guy in town has 08 with kit and said he was real happy with it. Said it did what was advertised, he also bought the matching rear shocks.

I checked them out on the BILSTEIN SITE and they list applications for 07-08 K1500 GM trucks and add 1.75" height to the front. I'm curious if the ride would be stiffer.

The Border Patrol Uses these in all of their 07 and 08 Tahoes. They work great. I know that we pound the heck out of then and they really seem to hold up. The ride is slightly firmer than stock, but not harsh. We run a lot of Forest Service and logging roads and they really handle anything we throw at them...quality product.
