    Default Will 35s fit a 96 Burban 2500/4x4 without a lift?

Trying to get the tallest tire I can but dont want to lift it...will 35s fit?

Also, if not, will 33s be bigger than the stock tires?

    Thanks

Don't think 35"s are going to work without a lift even on a 2500, you should check out "springthing"s profile he has a'99 2500 and he has 305/70/16 (32.8" tall) not sure if he has any lift or not though, sorry I can't be more help! ( what size are on it now?)

35's will be too large. This is a 96 burb with 35's and 6 in lift

According to tirerack.com your stock tire was 235/85/16 roughly a 31.7/9.5/16 tire.
There is another burb on here with 305/70/16 (33") tires not sure if he is at stock height though. PM Springthing. he is running these tires. he drives a 99 but it is the same BS as yours. he should be able to help you.

I *think* that 33's will fit with a leveling kit, otherwise there might be some rubbing.

Smile will 35s fit 96 burban 2500/4x4 without lift

What size wheel are you going to run?? We used to use a 6inch lift for 35s with a 8 or 10 inch wheel. If you Change your torsen bar keys and level truck and 305s with some trimimg on a 7or 8 inch wheel should work. Every truck is differant as GM used differant torsen bars, trailer towing package had stiffer t/bars. We had afew Suburbans that could only fit 285s.

A Leveling kit is a set of new keys for your torsion bars. I was able to crank my torsion bars up on my silverado without buying the keys. gained about 1.5 inches. Enough for 285/75 16's. You will want to get it aligned after doing so though. 285/75's are 32.8".

I think you should be able to fit 285/75/16 or 285/70/16 with minimal rubbing. It's around a 33" tire.

    Actually a 285 75 is almost 33, a 285, 70 is about an inch smaller in diameter.

    285 (.75*2) + 16 = 32.83" Over all diameter.
    25.4

    285 (.70*2) + 16 = 31.71" Over all diameter.
