    Funny! After I spent all that time with that pretty formula, I thought to myself, I could have looked up every tire made on an online calculator in the time it took! Oh well!! Still good to know what the number mean though.

    go with a 285/75R16

    and i think springthing has a 3" body lift...

    im running 285 75 16s on my 94 2500 they measure exactly 33" my t bars are turned up and they dont rub at all, my dad had a 93 1500 with 35s and no lift, t bars turned up but he did trim a little off the front fenders at the corners, they did rub but it wasnt bad, looked good too, so it can be done, IF you have a saw

    You can put any size tire you want on without a lift, it just depends on how much you like the sheetmetal and how comfortable you are with a sawzall.
    With out a lift or a sawzall 33's will probably be the max size tire though, and depending on the suspension sag that may be to much tire.
