i just put a leveling key on my 00 z71. i put it on there so it could clear 33's and now its rides so rough.. it takes bumps and stuff terrible.. im afraid sumin is goin to fall apart. any ideas on anything to help this. or should i just put a lift and lower my totortion bars back down a little.

Nice looking truck and welcome to the site! With the leveling keys you should not have to crank the torsion bars. People crank the torsion bars without keys for added leveling or tire clearance but the purpose of the keys is to raise the front up to 2-2 1/2" and be able to retain your factory ride comfort. Note-usually when installing a leveling kit you need to replace your shocks with longer-travel shocks or install shock-extenders. Just my suggestions.

    Cool trucks riding rough

I agree with dwill3015. Longer front shocks. Skyjacker makes a three inch suspension lift for your truck. You can use those shocks, they come in gas or hyd. Also if you didnt have the tires on before, some off-road type tires are stiffer than stock street type tires. You can go to Skyjackers website for shock part #s. What ever shock you go with check and make sure you dont get a longer shock for a 6inch lift. Ive seen people make that mistake.

Look at bilstein and edelbrock. the bilstein 5100 costs 80 bucks per shock but are well worth it
