Hey guys, I'm a newbie here and have a quick question. I'm trying to confirm my suspicions. I have a 2007 NBS Silverado 4x4 CC stock. I have rims from a 2006 Silverado on the truck and I have been told by my local dealership that they can not make 2007 TP sensors work on the 2006 rims. I gave them 4 new sensors (2007 parts) to install and they broke 3 out of 4 of them and said they needed 2006 TP sensors since the rims were 2006 models. This doesn't make sense to me since there are millions of owners driving trucks with custom wheels that have perfectly good TPSs working correctly in them. I then gave them 2006 sensors and these will not sync up with the 2007 TPS monitor computer. Can anyone confirm that the 2007 TPSs should work in just about any rim/tire combo?? I appreaciate any feedback. Thanks for your time.
they should work, i have installed tpms sensors on aftermarket rims and they work fine so they should work. where were you getting them mounted at?

When I used to work at a shop I had a newer Suburban come in with some 24" wheels and the "service TPMS system" message came up on the display so maybe it's true. I don't really know too much about it but I thought my little tidbit might help.
