    Default same

I had the same issue happen to me in my 06 Silverado. Only came up for a second and then went off. Called ONSTAR and they ran a diagnostics on the air bag system, NOTHING!!!

Then went to GM and had them run the codes, NOTHING...They say that the battery voltage being low (a battery going bad) can cause this. Have not had the light since. Getting a new battery for the truck since its already going on 3 years old and GM's batterys are not that good on lasting.

    Good luck on your gremlin!!!

Im in the same boat! I used my buddies scanner and came up with a B0103 code which says is the front right crash sensor so is there a way I can test the sensor to see if its faulty?

I just replaced all sensors and parts on my 95 subaru with airbag problems...I let the dealership look at it years ago and they couldn't find the problem, but after 5 hours still billed me. This year I decided to do it myself. I ended up finding a short in my main harness wiring.

If you can get to the other end of the sensor where it plugs into the airbag computer ( I assume most airbag units are similar), then test the resistance of the sensor. You may need a factory service manual to tell you what readings the sensor should fall within.

Can I just disconnect the sensor off the wire and check the resistance?

Well I haven't looked at the sensors on our vehicles, but if you can disconnect it, then yes check the resistance, but disconnect the negative cable on the battery first and wait about 10 mins.

The capacitor that fires the charge stays charged longer than 10 minutes.

ok so then let the vehicle sit overnight with the neg. cable disconnected. I'm also guessing you will be laying on the driver's or passengers floor area where the wires connect to the computer. Your head shouldn't be anywhere near the front of the steering wheel anyways...LOL

Also, around te same time as this started happening I noticed my seat controll button is backwards now! When I push it down, the seat bottom tilts up and vice versa! Any ideas on that?
