Default noob with a leveling question

ok, so I have a 2008 1500 extended cab and I am looking to bump up the front a little to level it out. Not being much of a mechanic, I looked under and didn't see any torsion bars, just a sway bar. If this is the case will I be all set with a pair of the leveling blocks that bolt on top of the front struts? If so, are there any tips, tricks, or surprises that will arise when doing the installation?

    Thanks

Do you have coil springs? If you do then you need a coil spring spacer... But the only 2 ways to level your truck are going to be torsion bar keys or spring spacers....

I just looked at an 08 extended cab and it has a strut system. They do sell spacers to raise it but i think you may have to get the front end realigned so not to wear out your tires.

thanks for the insight guys. I was just on ebay and found a set of the risers that mount on the bottom of the strut. Has anybody used these or should I use the round ones that mount on the top? On another topic, I am thinking about a flowmaster exhaust, where is the cheapest/ best place to buy from?

    again
    thanks alot

yup, you should have coils and just throw the spacer in there on the bottom.

As for exhaust, I found good deals at Jegs.com. I would recommend magnaflow, edelbrock, or flowmaster 40 series
