You can't pump you own gas? For heaven's sake, y not?

Probably in Oregon, I went thru there once and was informed it was against the law to pump your own gas! On a side note I keep my .40 Cal in the glove box as a necessary tool....just in case of course...lol

Is there a specific reason why those laws exist?

    Oregon is the same way.

I guess 'they' don't think y'all are smart enough to pump your own gas safely.

Just kidding....I have wondered the same thing.....

    Why?

I don't have a clue as to why, however my best guess is it was for political reasons. Sounds too much like some one made a promise to small business owners (full service stations) in return for campaign contributions.

Everyone should keep a set of jumper cables! Another item for the tool box...fix-a-flat. A temporary fix, but it will get you to where you need to get for the time being.

I HATE that stuff, but it's probably due to the fact that I change tires, and that stuff is messy and just smells horrible, lol. Fix-A-Flat works great, like you said, temporarily, but if you have TPMS, DON'T USE IT, it will clog and kill your sensor, then you will have to get a new one and that is just a pain in the a$$.
