    With my truck, 2002 silverado z71, i can fit 285's on it without any rubbing.

    ended up with 285/70/17. fit without any problems.

    discount tire ended up having the best deal. considering they had them listed for $245/ea, I ended up getting them for $218/ea if I remember correctly.

    that is the cheapest I could find them locally. by at least $10/ea

    I just installed my 285/75R18's on 18X9 rims and they fit with some minor rubbing. I ended up just trimming a little on the inside of the wheel well and they fit just fine. I haven't had the suspension under full compression in a turn yet but I did hit get full travel on the suspension with the steering straight and haven't had any problems. I'll post some pictures soon.

    I spent about 1,200 for the silent armor 305/75/16. Rub is minimal and the wheel well is nicely filled up. Used stock rims. Had no rubbing at first but then I put on 1&1/2" wheel spacers and it started to rub. I like the look of the wider stance. I also put on torsion keys and a 2" rear coil spacer to level it out.
