Intro
Hi All,
Just bought new 2009 (Certified) Silverado 2500HD LTZ, LMM DuraMax, 2WD.
It was a "Special Event " truck had 50 miles on it when I purchased it.
2000 miles so far,
Bought for towing our travel trailer around the country, and hopefully last me a long time.
Little bouncy when empty but tows nicely. MPG not as good as I had hoped so far but we like it.
Wife is in to genealogy and I just like seeing the country and photographing a lot of it and some things for her genealogy records.
Plan to go east from California in May I40 south as far as Mobile AL then north to KY visit me Mum then on to Niagra Falls then back home.
Glad to be aboard the GMTruckClub.

Welcome to the site. Yes the LMM does not get as good of mileage as it could due to the DPF. A lot of people are removing them and doing turbo back exhaust systems. Some states have big fines for doing that.

2000 silverado with a 5.3l v8, shorty headers, upgraded plugs, 10 mil wires, magnaflow high flow cats, flowmaster 80 series muffler(2 in 2 out) w/ 18 inch stainless silverline tips. i have a k&n CIA. its a 4x4 z71 offroad package. Ls model.
extended cab 160k miles, truxedo low profile bed cover, diablo sport predator tuner.
reman tranny @ 130k miles
