    Default how much 2 put v8 in a s10 out the door?

    im talkin the cheapest way.. i want a 305 and 700r4 or 200r4 im not lookin to beat on it but i have no smog here and dont like driving a 4cylinder it just doesnt sound good i want a carbd v8 for a little power and sound .. wat drivelines can i use, rear ends that r swppable, tranys , mounts anything i can get out of donor cars instead of buying new stuff is what im looking for, if you can send a link that would be great thanks

    i have 1700 and a 2.8 4x4 v6 parts truck to work with .. i have to pay a 2600dollar fine from doin 75 in a 45 on a streetbike while raining my first day riding one. now i dont have a license so i gotta do that

    i also got a brand new th400 laying around alison gears..
    trucks got 5k invested only needs paint trade for bagged s10 82+

    350 10:1 summit rebuild kit, double roller,5speed camaro,10bolt 3:42 posi,cnotch xpipe flowmasters, roll pan, sounds nice and loud real lobey, dont know what kind of cam is in it got around 5k on everything
    new interior all black ,headliner,carpet b&m short shifter and its a 75 with 82 body dual tanks

    can i use all 4.3 parts and then just put a carbbed smllblock in? is there alot of wires to be cut out or plugged off . can someone send me a link?

    You should be able to find one pretty cheap, just keep your eyes open. Maybe Craigslist or e-bay, check junk yards, peoples' yards. Another option, there are usually quite a few newer engines (4.8, 5.3) with tranny accessories, and ecm included that you can get off e-bay pretty cheap. All you'd have to do is wire up the ignition, battery, and what-not. Would be a fairly simple swap and you'd have a great long lasting, decent MPG vehicle with great power. I did a quick search and found several 5.3's with ecu's and all accessories for between $500-1500.

    Yep I agree. Your best bet is to get both the engine and transmission along with a computer. There's several V-8 S10s running around here so it's a common conversion.
