    Confused on the Kevlar, is it part of the tread or is it in the side walls like a run flat. I have runflats on my wifes Sienna and they ride like a set of rocks. Kevlar in the tread would be awesome, and extend the life to great lengths. And wow $400 for the set, I got charge $225 a tire and that was a deal.

    i think its just in the sidewall which makes sense since thats usually what you will be sliding up against sharp rocks, not so much as a runflat as more of making the rubber compound more durable, a run flat actually has a slime like stuff inside the tire which makes them extremly heavy and stiff which is why they ride like a tank

    you sure they were MTR's? mine are really loud on my jeep and were on my gmc as well.


    and the old MTRs have kevlar too, just throwin it out there. and yes it is in the sidewall
