    Default 1977 axle swap

    Hi,

I'm dirt poor and not much of a mechanic. Done a few things before and I can weld pretty good. Anyways I have a 1977 chevy 2wd stepside lowrider pickup (believe its a c10). Will a rear axle from a 1988ish 2wd suburban swap over to the truck? I dont see why not, should just be some u bolts and spring perches to switch right?

This should be a bolt on project. There were a few changes on the park brake linkage but I think it should still work, the hydraulic brakes and fittings will be exactly the same.
If I remember they even use the same U-joints.
