    Yes it does change the angle and you will see increased wear, 3 inches is the limit. From what I've heard from other members the increased angles become an issue if you are going to do any serious off roading, for a street application it's not much of a problem, which remains to be seen since I only leveled mine a month and a half ago. So if you want to go off road I would think about an honest to God suspension lift.

    i have a 95 with the keys and im running a 305/40 R22 and it does not scrub at all.

    I want to level my Colorado and would like to do it myself. I have never done any work like this before. Any tips or suggestions? I have read a couple "How to" writeups online and it seems pretty straight forward.

    Also... Why are the trucks not level stock?

    if you put a leveling kit that puts new torsion keys in and it boosts the front up 2 or 3 inches, will that increase the angle of the CV joints and other parts and cause them to wear out faster?

    Default downside to keys

    I have a 2000 Z71 that had a 7 in Third Coast lift and a 3 in body i wanted to run some MT 38x15.5-20 and i need just a bit more clearence on the front end so i did the new keys and ran them up all the way to give it a rally style look to it it wears out the front end and give a lil bit rougher of a ride thats about it

    what do you think about putting a body lift on a truck that is used for work. i have a ladder rack and a bunch of stuff and i put a fair amount of weight in the back, you think a body lift would hold up?

    i have 2000 silverado 2500 4x4 did a 3 inch body lift and a 3 inch torsion key lift also i bought brandnewish torsion bars off of a 05 silverado 1500 with like 60,000 miles on em and it looks like this now Click image for larger version.
