    Default Front diff oil change

i changed the rear diff oil but when i looked at the front, i was unsure how to get to it. i know i'll have to pull off that differential gaurd thing, but there were so many bolts on that diff that it kind of confused me. what all do i have to do? also, does 2.5 quarts of gear oil sound right? thats how much i put in the back, but when i drained it, there was only maybe less than 2 quarts.
