Well, not much you can say about the GMs that will outshine the F150. That's a good looking truck and even though you are looking at a Texas Edition, which I heard was nice there's no co-*ducks to miss a soup can thrown in his direction from a miscellaneous GMTC member*....

Okokok.. settle down, all I'm saying is that I AGREE the GM pick-ups are nice but you have to admit the F150's are among the top of t--*quickly ducks again, this time avoiding a greasy wrench*... STOP THAT!! Guys, please, be adults here! Have the decency to appreciate other trucks no matt**dives behind the couch quickly to avoid an end table sailing in his direction**!!

GUYS COME ON NOW!!! *ducks again*

    I th.*and again*...

    n/m!!!okokok!!!!!

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure you'd be very happy with the 09 T.E. I've not read any complaints on it yet!

Look forward to, if you do switch from from the F150, hearing about what you think of the differences.

I'm sure you'll get a lot of good responses to your inquiry.

    See you 'round the block!

Welcome to the site! I looked at a '09 Texas Edition last week and it was a really good looking truck. A nice package with the 20's and all. I'm not sure what all the T/E has other than the "badging" and wheels, but it is still a good looking truck!

    Welcome to the site.
I traded in my 05 F150 FX4 for this rig. Althoug I believe that Ford has the best looking trucks out there, when it came down to power I passed on the powerstroke. I really do think the F150 was an awesome truck that took me all over God's great green earth I just needed more hauling muscle.
Having said that there is a big difference on the interior of the trucks. GM put a little more care into the functional design and ergonomics, in my opinion anyways.
HAve a look for your self and good luck.
