this is important as the type of driving, along w/ speed, traffic congestion, city/highway driving and more can make a 40% difference.

That makes me feel a lot more comfortabl about my gas mileage. I keep reading about other Duramaxes getting 20+ mpgs and have been wondering what's wrong with mine, lol.

According to the onboard pc I am getting 15.3 mpg for mixed city/highway.
When I go on a 60 mile one way trip on the highway driving at 65 mph the pc says 20+ mpg. I am at 4200 foot elevation and drive to 7000 feet regularly in the CA sierra's so that is pretty good for being above sea level and in very mountainous terrain.
I drive with a light foot and coast often down hills, and I do long rolls to red lights, I am very easy on the brakes.
I am doing a manual calculation on the next fill up.
