I have a 1981 Chevy Silverado with the 305 V8 engine. It's been sitting for several years, but I recently got it running and tuned it up. A lot of the hoses need to be replaced, but it runs good. Last weekend it died on me and when I opened the hood, the line leading fromt he vacuum canister to the breather was pumping gas into the breather! WHAT could be causing this? Thanks

Glad to hear you're working on your truck. When vehicles sit for a long time, bad stuff can happen. Most fuel lines should not break down quickly, but from an 81, who knows?
