Has anyone tried a throttle body bypass? If so did it work? Did you buy a kit off ebay or just buy the parts and make one yourself?

Did it on my 05 5.3. On my truck there was enough extra hose that I removerd hoses from throttle body and connected them togehter with a brass barbed fitting and two hose clamps from NAPA. This is OK in warm climates but ive heard idle will suffer in cold climates. As far as performance, well it didnt hurt.
What did you use to plug the fittings on the throttle body?
