was wondering if i replace the current 18 in. wheels on my 09 with 20's and don't use the sensors will it send alarms to computer, or will it simply give you a 0 read on each wheel, thanks
You might get a sign thats says they are not detected, they might say zero and you might have to take it to the dealer or something and have that feature disabled.

Yes you will get a warning light. Why would you not want the sensors? They improve your braking, make your tires last longer and they may save your life!
And think about this. If you were involved in an accident you may be held responsible because you disabled part of the vehicles ABS system. JMO

It is easy to move the sensors over to the new wheels, or buy a replacement set for the new wheels if you are keeping the originals for later. You can get replacement sensors from Myres Tire Supply much cheaper than from the dealership.
