Default Photos of the '90 Suburban 4x4 you guys helped me with...

Again, its a 1990 1500/4x4/6.2L. Power everything, engine runs great with good oil pressure and temp. When I bought it, it had $600 worth of new break work - perfect, 2 brand new batteries, new driver's side window motor, and new starter. I put the wheels and tires on it, it had the original Rally wheels and good Michilines (sp?) on it, and I added an add-a-leaf to the rear. Donated to the Waterfront Rescue Mission with 235,000 on the odometer, with a note in the glove box that said the engine and tranny has less than 100K on them... I am inclined to believe it as everything works and is in great working order for the year. While doing the add-a-leaf, we found packing stickers on the leaf springs showing that all 4 leaf springs had been replaced. We're thrilled with it and will hopefull get lots of fun times with it. Thank you all very much for your help, advice, and recommendations!

Looks like an awesome truck. I have the same tires in 31X10.5X15 and they've held their own in some pretty serious situations. How difficult was it to add a leaf in the back?

The tires are 32x11.50 BFG/ATs. I had to remove the granny running boards for extra clearance. The ADLs werent too bad. I helped a buddy who has a lift in his shop behind his house...hardest part was getting all the leaves lined up with the center bolt after they jostled around a bit. Sits slightly higher in the rear, but I like it , and it will settle over time...overall good result. Add-a-leaf was Superlift springs.

Measurement from top of rear tire to fender well was 4 3/4" before, and approx. 8" after...

Wife wants it to look like an Australian outback safari vehicle, so I have support to add a brush guard/winch, lights, CB, and a heavy duty roof rack...woo-hoo! Gotta love that gal!

Thanks guys...I just cant get over how tight it is considering its age and mileage... best $2,000.00 I ever spent!

Edited to add: Switched fluids over to Royal Purple, no oil burning as of 1000k mi, coolant looks new as does inside of radiator, and my wife's favorite - no puddles in the driveway!
