    Default Sierra Interior Gadget Question

    Hi guys,

    I have always wondered what this little gadget attached to my GMC Sierra's interior upper console was. I have seen other GM trucks with it in photos, but no detail about it's reason for being.

    Any ideas?

    Can't really tell from the small pic but it looks like a speaker pick up for use with cellular phones, I have a similar unit in my rig for the new hands free driving law that came out ugh!

    Speaker or air freshner are my guesses. It looks aftemarket, it doesn't match the rest of the colors.

    it is the mic for OnStar and it is stock. it is not aftermarket even tho GM was too cheap to color match it
