Thread: Abs And "!" Brake Light
04-29-2009, 07:44 AM #11
The ABS and brake lights aren't on because the minute they came on when I left the shop I turned right around and went back to show them. They put the speedo/tire size settings back to the way they were, which is why my speedo is 10mph off.
Not sure if it would affect anything with them being on, but it would annoy the hell out of me seeing them on my dash all the time for sure.

Yep, as soon as they went back to the size 33's, all was well, except the speedo being off.

Figure that I would bump this to see if anyone else has an answer.

Go look at Superlift. They sell an ABS recalibrator unit. They say its required when using the 4.56 gears. does not do the speedo, but it will get the ABS light not to come on and will correct it.
http://www.superlift.com/Catalog.asp?P=34000. They have a different unit for the speedo. I have that on my truck and like it, but not the ABS as I only went 4.10. Can also get it from 4wheelparts. Not seeing on 4wheelparts online but it is part #3400 for superlift.David
