04' sierra sound

ok, this question is for a friend, he has an 04' sierra ext cab and i just got my flowmaster super 44 exhaust and he loves the sound my truck make, now he is wondering if he can do anything to make his truck have better sound, it has the 4.3l v6 in it, and 100500 miles on it.
he would also like a little bit more power out of the truck also. idk about that, i see very little about the 4.3

I have an 08 4.3l but from what I have found the only company that really makes a decent kit is Magnaflow. It won't have the load idle sound, just a low rumble but when he gets on it, it would rumble. It should add about 10 to 12hp and and about 12 to 15TQ which he will defintitly notice.

If he lives in a state where the exhaust emmissions are lax then he can cut out his cats, sell them and get o2 sensors to trick the on-board computer. my friend did this of his '04 sierra and kept the stock exhaust. It sounds great, plenty of rumble, not too loud and a little over 13hp and tqr

Tell him to keep his cats on a 4.3 if you cut them off it makes it sound like a bumble bee. Borla makes a 4.3 set up and a buddie of mine has it on his truck. You can almost mistake it for a v8 almost. You just cant make a v6 sound like a v8. A tuner will give him more power for sure.

thanks for the replies, we live in en emissions state, he just had to go through emissions. so its between borla and magnaflow. and i will tell him about a tuner

BORLA is the best for a 4.3 and I am a fan of cherrybomb.
