ahh barn doors I take it? I hated mine, never worked right and leaked like crazy. I think mine got hit from the rear like 9 or 10 times though. I would keep an eye on that transmission though...
$1475 seems like a bargain. I payed 800 for my 95 with 185k but I had to throw a bunch of money into it to get it up to my low standards.Dan

Actually, it doesn't have the barn doors. I kinda wish that it did though. I'm not a big fan of the tailgate, but it is what it is. I haven't found any leaks anywhere throughout. I was surprised to see that not even the moonroof leaks. On the Bonnevilles, the moonroofs are always the first thing to leak.
I got the interior detailed last night and it's as good as new! And, I replaced the heater control valve so the truck is now leak-free.
The Service Engine Soon light is on. I went to scan it with my OBDII Actron scanner and it seems the OBD port under the dash is faulty. The scanner couldn't connect. I know my scanner is good because I plugged it into another car just to verify it was working OK. I might just have to live with that annoying light on in the dash if I can't retreive the code.1997 Chevy Tahoe
