I recently purchased a 1997 Tahoe and the driver's rear door will not open. The older man I bought it from said it's been that way for a couple years. The lock is stuck in the locked position so I'm sure that attributes to the issue.

How easy is it to remove the door panel from inside the truck? I'm thinking my best bet will be to get the door panel off so I can diagnose what's going on.
